We Need to Talk About Kevin has won Best British Film of the Year at Evening Standard Film Awards. The ceremony took place on February 6th, and was the 39th in the festival's history.

The film beat tough competition from nominees Tyrannosaur, and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
