Warren (Johnny Harris) is a struggling stand-up comedian gigging around the pubs and clubs of North London. He is wildly ambitious, yet in his heart, he knows he doesn't have the talent. Enter Clark (Noel Clarke) - a shrinking violet, happy just coasting along in life, working long shifts at a local Greek restaurant.
When Clark heckles Warren in a comedy club, Warren decides that Clark is destined to be Eric Morcombe to his Ernie Wise...Warren and Clark are going to be Huge. Their double-act will make them comedy legends, sparking up a trail of laughter that will light the whole of human history. Their catchphrases will be closely guarded national treasures. They will shine so brightly they will obliterate everything that has gone before them. The only problem is Warren and Clark are finding the cut-throat world of stand-up comedy extremely difficult to break into.
In the face of overwhelming odds and rampant personal jealousy, Warren and Clark must find a way to stick together if they are to have a chance of making it. Their journey takes us through the comedy pubs and clubs of deepest, darkest London, revealing the startling secret that lurks in the heart of every comedian...
