Kevin Wins British Film of the Year at Critic's Circle We Need To Talk About Kevin has won the Attenborough Award for British Film of the Year, at the 32nd London Critic's Circle Film Awards. Lynne Ramsay was present to collect the award on January 19th, at a ceremony at BFI London. Kevin Receives BAFTA Nominations As the shortlist for the 2012 BAFTAs was announced on January 17th, We Need To Talk About Kevin has been nominated for three of its most prestigious awards: Outstanding British Film, Best Director for Lynne Ramsay, and Best Actress for Tilda Swinton. The results will be announced in a ceremony on Sunday 12th February. HELL AND BACK AGAIN Shortlisted for Oscar As the Academy unveiled its Oscar shortlist for documentaries, Independent Distribution's title Hell And Back Again was among the lucky fifteen. The war documentary by photojournalist Danfung Dennis will now advance in the voting process for the 84th Academy Awards.
